TOURISTY THINGS
Someone wise once said be a traveler not a tourist, but I sort of like guided touristing abouts. I did visit the Bongeunsa Temple,

three-storey Buddha

the Changdeokgung Palace,
stone markers

and the DMZ,
ancient locomotive train
and at the Dorasan Station the good start that may never get to its destination again
but I'm whittling this portion down to two other places of interest.
At the Namsan Traditional Folk Village

At the Deoksugung Palace, where we caught, by some stroke of luck, the pomp and ceremony of the changing of the guards-- it was strangely touching.

Happy Girl and None Two Pleased (uninspired pun intended)-- I planted myself in the middle of these two guards without so much as a by-your-leave, just because I might have been refused.
