Arsenal 2 - 2 Barcelona (Champions League First Leg): Of War and Warriors; and On Broken-ness

By Tuesday, Miko and I would know our fate. Hahaha. The results are uncertain, Barca are favorites and have the away goal advantage, but we have, against odds stacked as high as the Burj Khalifa, fashioned through graft and passion, that which could be Barcelona's undoing. Hello, spine of steel.

In the meantime, I leave you with the words of My Favorite of Favorites. Yes, Cesc writes for The Sun, gutter press if ever there was one, but this is my Read of the Year:

My leg is broken - and I feel broken inside too.

Miko, our boy is made of drama-gooey-goo.

Hahaha but of course. He was always one to take himself seriously. But I am concerned about him playing in the world cup... because a big part of my interest in Spain is this particular Spaniard. So I will forgive him his drama. Anyway, his writing shows that he may yet have the soul of a poet. ;p wink wink

Hahaha. Arsene Wenger says Cesc is 100% sure to recover for the World Cup. I suspect that Cesc would report about it via The Sun too.

To quote him, Miko, "...we have to cling to the hope..."

I knew it. The Soul of a Poet!
