1. Log in as admin, password (you're-supposed-to-know-what).
2. Go to Global.
3. Click "New blog..." on right side of screen.
4. Go ahead and just answer the Qs asked of you (I named my links page "PPS Links").
5. On the owner box, write your username.
6. When it's done, go back to Global. Remember the blog number of the blog you just created.
7. Log out and re-log in as yourself.
8. Go to Blog Settings/Widgets.
9. "Add widget" whereever you may want it to appear on your blog. e.g., I want my links to appear on the left sidebar of my page so I clicked on "Add widget" of "Left sidebar" (actually, I put it in "Page Top"...).
10. Click "Linkblog (XFN)" (this is different from the one simply called "Linkblog").
11. You will be brought to the "Linkblog (XFN)" admin page.
12. Write the blog number I asked you to remember on the box labelled "Linkblog" (with description: "This is ID number of the blog to use as a linkblog.").
13. Change "Block title" to "Links" or whatever you want to call your links.
14. Check or uncheck "Don't show categories:" and/or "Open links on external window:".
15. Save, of course.
16. Go to your linkblog (it will probably be in the drop-down menu on the upper part of the admin area).
17. Click "Write".
18. Write the name of your link (e.g., ESPN) on the "Title" box and the URL (e.g., http://espn.com) on the "Link-to url" box. Choose "Link" from the drop-down menu. Choose the proper category for the link (this means you must have already created categories for your linkblog) if you left "Don't show categories" unchecked (see #14).
19. Save. You're done. Check out your page.
20. See my page to see this in action.
--- And if you can't do it, let me know! You may convince me to help you further in exchange for your soul.
