p.3 Your description of our hotel is just as easily the checklist for Ideal Man: would take care of you, and feed you bottomlessly always, and send you wine and a cheese platter... and would make you forget about "settling". Oh yeah. I just had some rice wine.

I miss those cookies with the muchest of muchnesses.

p.4 Grabe. I look like The Show Pony with all my photos (Kunyari, modest and of a retiring nature.)

You should have called RF "chump". It would certainly be more apt.

Re p. 3: Haha. Yes. The same way we equate football with love. And I, tennis with love. It's double the fun, too, because "love" is a tennis score. Hm. This deserves a full-fledged post...

A, excellent.

M, the Vietnamese are generally slim. Not as slim as you, of course, but close. They don't have rounded tummies.

Their traditional dress for ladies, the ao dai, is a superduper form-fitting tunic, slit along the sides up to the waist (oh dear), worn over flare pants.

I am happy that God, in his infinite wisdom, made me a Pinay.

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can't resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don't have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn't write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.

With all the doggone snow we have gotten as of late I am stuck inside , fortunately there is the internet, thanks for giving me something to do. :)

@ Carmen I know what your mean. In the current economy its hard to find a job that pays good enough to live on and is stable . I have discovered that if you just work hard and are consistent you can go places . Look at the author of this article, they are oviously hard working and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. I would encourage everyone to just keep hustling and moving forward.
