How Not To Be A Tourist, Part II
The Day
How else should The Greatest of Days kick off but with more photo ops:

Cyn/Tita Ed of somebody's past.

A with ceiling things.
After Hong Kong we swore never to let opportunities in the way of guest discounts on cocktails and free gym use slip away. Well actually what we availed ourselves of this time around was Sam’s employee discount, but who’s asking. Breakfast buffet at 50 off:

Thick waffles, chocolate cupcake, walnuts and grapes and French cheeses—Livarot and Brie; my next project would be to make cheese, Italian ricotta(-like) in particular, or Indian paneer —easy-to-make cheeses for my uncomplexest of tastebuds.

Cured meats, watermelon, salmon, homemade yogurt—which was too natural for me. Maybe sometimes I do need my sugars and such. Yes, these don't seem the likeliest of platemates.

Sausages and some style of chicken.

Stone and other odd fruit juice, a bit too bitter, passed on to C, pink guava, soy milk and lemon slice water.

Heavenly cupcake (reprise).
C, why does it seem like we ate only healthy food?

With friendly Pinoy trainee (or, after the melodrama at the Olive Tree).
You know what we did not take pictures of? Our stash of jams and Cyn’s one ripe peach.

Did I really nick a peach? I'm sure we got tubs of yogurt though. Haha.
I did my research. CapitaMall does land trust. Whatever that may mean. No quasi-banking involved. Ha.
Oi. That mishmash was a chicken wrap. Glammed up KFC fare. But really good.

REITs? I did some research on that once.
In any case, we have so far referred to Day 2 as:
Grand Affair
The Day
The Greatest of Days
BEST DAY EVER
The Untoppablest of Days
Haha.
Update: Also,
Perfection
Hahaha. Again.

When (always "when", never "if") we come back, we can do our food trip, Little India, Arab Street, Chinatown, art at the Ritz, the Merlion en route to chocolate buffet at Fullerton, the Singapore Art Museum, Singapore Aquarium, Singapore Science Center, Omni-Theater and Planetarium, and Sentosa. (Haha, every single item was on our last trip's to-do's)

Oh, and Red Vines has taken on an entirely new meaning since Grand Affair/The Day/The Greatest of Days/BEST DAY EVER/The Untoppablest of Days/Perfection.

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can't resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!†When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!†To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!â€

Thats some good fundamentals there, already knew some of that, but you can always learn more. I doubt a “kid†could put together such information as dolphin278 suggested. Maybe he’s just attempting to be “controversial? lol

Good points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t write on blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker†is very becoming to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault at all, but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy reading the posts.
